Yamaha Outboard Oil Tank Sensor Bypass

I have a mid 90s yamaha 70hp precision blend 2 stroke.

I was starting it this morning and as soon as i turned the key the alarm buzzer went off. I turned it off and tried it again several times. Remote tank sensor remote tank pump. But with alarm blarring and remote float at full level tank would fill.

Fwiw while trouble shooting i replaced the following for naught. The oil tank is full. I have a 2001 yamaha ox66 where the main oil tank on the engine is not filling automatically. Need to find the seal.
