02 Trailblazer Passenger Side Door Window Not Working

2005 trailblazer front passenger window not working at all from passenger side door switch or master panel switch on driver panel.

Took apart and melting inside panel. I ordered a passenger side rear right window motor online and when i got it in the mail i started taking the right door panel off. So i thought i d pull the switch and hooked up the driver side switch and the window will go up and down but i have to hit the up button for it to go down and the down button to go up. The 2002 chevrolet trailblazer has 4 problems reported for window not working.

Now we smelled burning inside the power window drivers side door panel. Checking power an ground for the driver main door switch would be a good place to start. Also wire s like to break inside the flex boot from the body to the driver s door no battery power to main switch. Was told it was caused by the motor on that.

The driver side window was stuck down and all door locks would not work all the other windows went up and down as they should but still no drivers window or door locks. I checked all fuses even 68 relay but still could not find problem i drove 18 miles in 30 degree weather at nite got home and was very confused with this truck. I replaced the switch with a brand new one and still won t work. Have changed out three win read more.

The result no buttons work on the panel. The buttons from the drivers side for the passenger side do not work either but the drivers side window and lock work fine. Passenger window and power door lock will not work. I replaced the motor and regulator.

It was a motor replacement at 350 00. So i thought it was the switch. Power not getting to motor. Average repair cost is 300 at 82 750 miles.

Also the power mirror adjusts the drivers side but not the passengerside. I recently had to take my 2006 trailblazer in because the frt passenger window wouild not go up all of the way. All other 3.
